The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a unified standard implemented by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to regulate the cybersecurity measures of organizations working with the U.S. military. The primary goal of the CMMC is to safeguard any information created or possessed by the government or third-party entity.
